Commemorative candles for HMD
These beautiful commemorative candles can be lit on Holocaust Memorial Day, 27 January, as part of our Light the Darkness national moment. During the moment of commemoration and solidarity, people across the UK will light candles and place them safely in their windows at 8pm to remember all those who were murdered for who they were and to stand against prejudice and hatred today.
We are no longer taking orders for HMD commemorative candles.
By ordering a commemorative Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) candle, you are keeping alive the memory of all those murdered during the Holocaust and more recent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur. Your payment will enable us to support more people from all backgrounds to meaningfully mark Holocaust Memorial Day together.
All proceeds from the HMD candles support our work to raise awareness and educate about the Holocaust and recent genocides.
