HMDT blog: Five ways to get involved with HMD 2022

1. Attend an HMD activity

Each year tens of thousands of activities take place across the UK. Use our map to find one near you

2. Organise an HMD activity

We have activity plans and resources to help you to set up your own event. Explore creative activities, school materials, films and more in our resources hub

3. Watch the UK Ceremony

Register in advance to view the live stream of the national ceremony for HMD at 7pm on 27 January

4. Light the darkness

Join the nation in lighting a candle at 8pm on 27 January to remember those who were murdered for who they were and to stand against prejudice today

5. Read life stories

Learn about the experience of someone who was persecuted during the Holocaust or genocide. Explore our collection of life stories here.

Whether you’re organising an online or in-person activity for HMD 2022, don’t forget to add it to our interactive map to become part of the national picture of HMD across the UK.
