Pupils wanted to create a canvas to put up in school as a constant reminder of the holocaust, and to make people think about what we need to learn for similar things to not happen again. They took inspiration from the HMD website and created a flame out of hand prints, and then 'texturised' it using different materials and newspaper cuttings of words associated with the holocaust. They spent every lunchtime across 2 weeks completing their work and are very proud of it. It will be hung in the school Chapel and a picture has been sent home to parents in the school bulletin.
