The Mayor of Sefton June Burns and three councilors from Sefton Council as well as our local Priest, Fr. Faustinus are dedicating a portrait, plaque and bench as permanent memorial to Fay Healey.
Fay spent a large part of her life working for St. Elizabeth's Catholic Primary School in Litherland where she watched two generations of children grow up, working as a much-loved lollipop lady who escaped Nazi horrors.
Fay died in 2020 from cancer, but her memory and legacy live on as we dedicate a memorial to our friend Fay Healey who crossed us safely to school. We honour your memory and promise to fight discrimination in all its ugly forms.
