Join us to mark Holocaust Memorial Day with an afternoon of talks, film screenings, stalls and creative activities at the Millennium Gallery.

You will learn about the history of Holocaust from academic historians and community members with lived experience, as we come together with compassion and peace to mark this annual day of memorial.

There will be a pop-up exhibition “We Are Not Alone”: Legacies of Eugenics, which explores the impact of eugenics. It reveals how eugenics has influenced programmes of human betterment in different national and international contexts since the 1880s.

Throughout the day, there will also be stalls, activities and short documentaries exploring the history and aftermath of the Holocaust and genocide.

This event is organised in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University Multifaith Chaplaincy and Terezia Rostas, Roma Cultural Consultant and Director of Care for Young People's Future.
