As part of our Personal Development Curriculum, we delivered learning opportunities across the school to educate and commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day this week.
We were delighted that two speakers from Generation 2 Generation (G2G) joined us during the week to deliver talks to Year 7, 8 & 9 with all other year groups receiving specific assemblies lead by Mr Lewis- Head of History.
Peter and John from G2G shared their powerful and personal stories with our leaners who were extremely respectful throughout, showing excellent conduct and empathy.
G2G are a Holocaust Education Charity, established to empower second and third generation Holocaust survivor descendants to present their family histories.
Through the use of survivor testimony, they aim to keep these Holocaust stories alive and promote the importance of inclusivity and human rights.
