The live event is by invitation only, but the content will be available to view on YouTube from the 28 January.
This will include memorial prayers, keynote speaker Susie Kaufman who will talk about her three parents' experiences during the Holocaust, and a choir of children from local schools who will perform a specially written song.
Alongside the event there will be an exhibition of powerful photographic images taken from the Lodz and Warsaw Ghettoes as well as the camps. This will run from the 26th January to the 9th February at the City Library in Newcastle.
