HMD is the day for everyone to remember the millions of people murdered in the Holocaust, under Nazi Persecution, and in the genocides which followed in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia, and Darfur. The event is organised / facilitated by the Policy Team on the Mayors behalf and is to take place in the Council Chamber, London Borough of Merton, Merton Civic Centre, Morden, Surrey SM4 5DX.

The Event will consist of key dignitaries throughout the London Borough of Merton some of which will take part in the event.

Reading of passages to remember the millions lost and prayer.

Choir performance by Wimbledon Synagogue choir and lighting of our Holocaust Memorial Day candle to remember the lives lost.
