First part: Ceremony at Town's war memorial attended by local dignitaries, schoolchildren, Imam, members of both Jewish and Muslim communities, local residents. Laying of stones and flowers side by side on steps of war memorial. Prayers including Kadesh and readings.
Second part: Leaving the war memorial together; a schoolchild leading us and carrying a candle of peace, we walk to the Town Hall to hear more readings/poetry and presentation by Gen2Gen speaker, son of Holocaust survivors.
