A speaker from G2G (Generation to Generation) came to deliver a talk to the Year 9 cohort, she focused on her mother's story which captivated the students and made the stories they had learned in class more pertinent. The students came away knowing the importance of respect in the modern world and how genocide does not occur out of nowhere. Also a beautiful poem about being a bystander was read that really made the talk relevant to today.
