During the week before 27th January, Framingham Earl High School marked Holocaust Memorial Day with assemblies looking at the individual stories of Eric Murangwa during the Rwanda genocide and Vali Racz in Hungary during the Holocaust.
We also created a Tree of Hope with students across the school from Year 7 to Year 11 writing pledges to stand up to discrimination on leaves.
Finally, tutor groups read a poem about standing up to discrimination and discussed being an active bystander in school, in their local community and online.
