This small exhibition seeks to include the Roma and Sinti experience within the broader Holocaust narrative; however, its main purpose is to invite thought and enquiry around contemporary issues of equality, diversity, and inclusion pertaining to all people of Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller-heritages, as much as it situates the Roma/Sinti treatment under German National Socialism.
Comprising of four themes and three case studies, and a focus on two short, animated testimonies, we invite you to recognise the prejudice endured by groups who continue to be marginalised by society, to applaud their resilience and regeneration, and to consider our own attitudes and agency within contemporary society.
