I did a HMD assembly at Emmanuel Middle School for 200 Year 5 and Year 6 pupils. I have developed a PowerPoint presentation about Judith Kerr and how she and her family managed to escape Berlin all because of the act of a German policeman who very bravely phoned Judith's father to tell him to leave Berlin before his passport was taken away. He left and his family followed a few weeks later.
I did this on 6 February starting at 2.45 and finished at 3.15.
