Holocaust Memorial Day 2024
From Friday 26th January there will be a display in Borth Hub to mark
Holocaust Memorial Day organised by a Borth resident whose grandfather was
murdered in Auschwitz.
The theme this year is THE FRAGILITY OF FREEDOM.
You are invited to join a National Moment at 8pm on 27th January by placing a
small candle safely in your window. Civic buildings throughout the United
Kingdom will be illuminated in purple.
You may also register to virtually
attend the National Ceremony on Holocaust Memorial Day Trust website.
We shall be remembering those who were murdered for who they were and
standing against prejudice and hatred today.
