Gateshead Youth Council heard the story of Kindertransportee Renie Inow and survivor of the Genocide in Bosnia, Sedin Mustafić and wrote to them as part of the HMD 2018 Postcard Project.
Youth Initiatives Downpatrick created a display in their youth centre to raise awareness about Holocaust Memorial Day and the genocides commemorated on this day.
