Remembering Lilian Black OBE
We are devastated to hear about the death of our friend Lilian Black OBE. Our Chief Executive, Olivia Marks-Woldman OBE, says:
‘This is heart-breaking news. Lilian was a hugely energetic, dynamic and inspiring person. She worked closely with us at HMDT as she initiated and led the Huddersfield Holocaust Learning centre. She was passionate about sharing the story of her father, Eugene Black, who was a Holocaust Survivor and worked in forced labour in Auschwitz-Birkenau.’
