Head of Finance and Operations

Location: Vauxhall, London

Salary: £45,000 - £47,000

Closing date: Sunday 28 April 2019

We are looking for a Head of Finance and Operations to take the lead for the financial performance management of the organisation, managing the function operationally and strategically to maximise use of the organisation’s financial resources to achieve strategic goals.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience of the UK charity or not for profit sector, advanced knowledge of SORP and charity VAT.

Join our Trustee Board

We are recruiting up to four new trustees to join our Board from July 2019. Trustees play a key role in setting the strategic direction of HMDT. You will be joining an enthusiastic and committed board of trustees who meet up to seven times a year and play an important part in our activities between meetings.

We are looking for enthusiastic and creative individuals who are excellent team players. We are committed to maintaining a diverse and expert Board and are seeking individuals who will assist us in broadening our diversity. We are particularly interested in potential trustees who have at least one of the following skills, knowledge or perspectives, though this is not an exclusive list and we encourage applications from all those with an interest in our work and relevant expertise, skills or perspectives:

  • Experience or knowledge of local government
  • Broad understanding of Britain’s faith communities
  • Understanding of British society, including experience of challenging hatred and prejudice at either a policy or community level
  • Fundraising experience
