Youth Consultative Group
The two main aims of the Youth Consultative Group (YCG) are to advise on and promote yearly youth projects for Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) and to increase the number of young people and youth organisations marking HMD.
Representatives from member organisations meet two to three times per year and work on a youth focused project, developed by Holocaust Memorial Day Trust (HMDT) staff. HMDT support members and their networks to put on their own HMD events. In 2020, the YCG will work on a collaborative photography exhibition, featuring images from young people working with each of the member organisations.
The group members have expertise in a wide range of areas including the higher education sector, youth empowerment and advocacy and informal learning settings.
