An online film to mark Holocaust Memorial Day. Five West Yorkshire local authorities have come together to contribute to this filmed event working with 6 million+ Charitable Trust. It features five stories of welcome experienced by Jewish refugees after the war as they made a new start in the UK and five responses from local authority representatives as well as a special message from Mayor of West Yorkshire, Tracy Brabin.

The online lighting of candles is accompanied by Flockton First School and Carlton JI School singing “One Day”, a song about looking forward to a kinder future, written by the children themselves, with music from musician Andy Burton.
