During form time throughout the week Huntcliff staff and students will be taking part in activities themed to remember the Holocaust:
Tuesday - General introduction to the Holocaust;
Wednesday - Watching Out of the Darkness (Holocaust Learning UK);
Thursday - Huntcliff pre-recorded assembly (owing to covid regulations) including Miss Mohon introducing the assembly on the theme of One Day. The assembly includes a Year 9 drama about the rescue of Denmark's Jews, 'Impressions' - a piano piece composed and played by a talented Year 10 student to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day and a contribution by 3 Year 8 students explaining why they think that the Holocaust is still relevant today;
Friday - students have the opportunity to write their thoughts, what they have learnt, and wishes for the future, to be written on a leaf to hang on the Huntcliff Holocaust Memorial Day tree in the atrium.
