Poetry (2008)

The following resources are from 2008 and may still be of use to your event, however the most recent resources in this category will be the most relevant.

A poem can often sum up in a few words a range of experiences and emotions. The inclusion of a poem in a commemorative event can add poignancy and help to aid understanding of complex issues.

The poems included here represent a variety of experiences of the Holocaust and more recent genocides, including alienation, persecution, life in concentration camps and ghettos and life as a refugee.
