Publicising your Event

If it is possible to open your event to the public, there are some ways to publicise your event to ensure a large turnout.

List your event on the Holocaust Memorial Day website events page

Contact the editors of local parish and community magazines. You may be able to include a brief article about Holocaust Memorial Day in addition to listing your event. A template pre and post event press release is available for download here.

Contact local community groups who may have an interest in Holocaust Memorial Day and the HMD08 Theme: “Imagine…remember, reflect, react”.
