Education (2006)
The following resources are from 2006 and may still be of use to your event, however the most recent resources in this category will be the most relevant.
The Holocaust Memorial Day Trust produces materials which are specific to the annual theme for Holocaust Memorial Day. The theme for HMD 2010 is The Legacy of Hope.
HMD 2010 is the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau and to mark this important anniversary, and as we are urging more educators than ever to mark the Day we have created a brand new HMD education website, specifically aimed at educators.
The website is filled with resources, suitable for educators across Primary, Secondary and Post-16 levels and for all subject areas.
As well as visiting the education website, educators will also find our free campaign pack of use in their planning.
HMDT welcome the commitment of educators across the UK who take the messages of HMD to their students. We are always happy to provide advice and support and we encourage you to contact us on 0845 838 1833 or via enquiries@hmd.org.uk if you have any questions.
