Elie Wiesel 1928-2016
We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Elie Wiesel.
He was a giant of humanity, who urged the necessity for everyone to reflect on the Holocaust and its implications.
On 27 January 2016, over 5,590 activity organisers were informed and inspired by his views on bystanders. Today, and for HMD 2017, we take inspiration from his words as we reflect on the aftermath of the Holocaust.
For the survivor death is not the problem… The problem is to adjust to life, to living. You must teach us about living.
