Leeds Holocaust Memorial Day Civic Commemoration Event

The event is hosted by the Lord Mayor of Leeds with spoken tributes from Dr Stephen Smith, chairman of the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust and Holocaust Centre Director and various community and faith groups.

The Theatre Company Blah Blah Blah will work with young people from Roundhay School Technology College to perform a short piece inspired by the story of Ruby Bridges and her parents’ courage to stand up to hatred. Artwork contributed by local schools will feature at the event, along with live music.
