A Talk by Michael Brown
Monday, 22 January, 2018 - 18:30

In 1939 Franz Schlesinger was nine years old and thinking only of his favourite football team in Hanover, but his life was about to change. Franz travelled to England on the penultimate Kindertransport train, which saved thousands of Jewish children. Today Franz is a grandfather in his 80’s, has changed his name to Michael Brown, and published "Moving On: My Journey Through Life, The Memoirs of Michael Brown".
Join Michael this evening to hear more about his remarkable life, in the 80th Anniversary year of the Kindertransport.
