In an event hosted by Teesside University, Holocaust Memorial Day will be commemorated in Middlesbrough this year on Wednesday 24th January at 2pm. HMD is a time for everyone to remember the millions of people murdered or who have had their lives changed beyond recognition during the Holocaust, with the aim of reminding us all to use the lessons of the past to inform our lives today.
The event will take place in the events space at MIMA from 2-3pm.
The Commemorative Service will be lead by Teesside University chaplain Reverend Tessa Stephens with contributions from students, staff and the local community.
