In recognition for Holocaust Memorial Day, Movie House Dublin Road is holding a free public screening of from Belfast to Dachau along with a short discussion by the filmmakers.This Documentary is about Belfast man Teddy Dixon who, as a soldier in WWII, fought in France and Germany and was among the first to discover the horrors of Dachau concentration camp. Prior the screening of this film, we will show a short film on behalf of the Holocaust Memorial Trust called A Stranger Smiled at Me, telling the story of Walter Kammerling's journey fleeing Nazi-occupied Austria on the Kindertransport.

After both films have concluded, a discussion will be held with Belfast to Dachau filmmaker Dermot Lavery. This is definitely an opportunity not to miss.

To guarantee admittance it is advised that tickets are picked up in advance from the Movie House Dublin Road Box Office.
