The LGBT HQ centre in Carlisle sits next to Sticky Bits LGBT café, and is a hub for services information and advice specific to the LGBT community in Carlisle, and in Cumbria. It is a hate incident reporting centre, offers a free counselling service, and runs an anti-bullying campaign.

For Holocaust Memorial Day 2016, the centre held a week-long exhibition, focusing on the Holocaust and Nazi persecution of LGBT people.

Pam Eland, from Sticky Bits Café said:

‘The LGBT HQ put up a display to remember the Holocaust. The display has had a lot of interest from different age groups and crated opportunities to have discussions. I feel it is important to remember this day and remember all the people who have suffered and were killed as they play an important part of LGBT history.’
