National Commemoration

Since 2001, a national commemoration of Holocaust Memorial Day has taken place in the UK. A different area in the country has been host to this event which is based around the theme for that years’ events.

More important than the national event, hundreds of events take place around the country to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day in schools, colleges, local communities and in places of worship as well as many other organisations.

Coventry will be hosting the national commemoration of HMD 2009.
